Partners.

We often work with franchise professionals such as consultants, solicitors and other franchise service providers. Often we can all work together with a franchise network to ensure that the franchise gets the best advice possible.

Our Promise.

As a trusted partner, you need to know that our standards match your own.

GreyRidge has relied on the recommendation of trusted partners and consultants since its inception in 2005. We recognise the value to us and to our partners of long-term relationships based on mutual trust and respect. We know that without your trust, we won’t get business. This is the guiding principle of our Partner Programme.

  • We will treat your clients with respect.
  • Our response time to your client will be fast.
  • We will always let you know about any significant development with your client or lead.
  • Our aim is to be a long-term partner of your client.

How the programme works.

Everything you need to know about how our service works.

In simple terms, contact us about a need that your client has that might call for technology. We can either do the rest or work alongside you to acheive the best results.

What is a lead?

In order to qualify a lead to the stage where it will be considered a genuine prospect which should be followed up, the following pieces of information will need to be determined:

  • That there is a genuine need for software to solve key business problems
  • That there is a genuine desire for a software solution to these problems
  • That there is a budget available
  • That there is an immediate timescale for implementation
  • The name and contact details for the key decision maker
How to spot a lead.

Since GreyRidge software build software solutions tailored to the requirements of the business they are working with, technically, any company can be a lead. However, to aid in the process of identifying a potential prospect for GreyRidge, we generally find that our clients have one or more of the following characteristics

  • 5 or more staff
  • Distributed staff (i.e. on site staff or consultants)
  • Distributed offices (i.e. franchised or multiple geographic locations)
  • Lots of manual processes, often with MS Access or Excel based solutions for managing these processes
  • Understand that they need technology to progress
Example types of work.

What not to do!

There are also some activities which are likely to adversely affect our ability to convert a lead that you send us. The following should be avoided when generating leads for a 3rd party:

  • Avoid giving more than a cursory indication of price (other than the expected minimum price) either by giving explicit cost expectations (i.e. “it should be about £7k”) or by inference (i.e. “that doesn’t sound too hard”). Often, complex-sounding things can be delivered easily while simple-sounding requests can map through to extremely complex processes once the detail is investigated. Franchise 360 is a very competitively priced system.
  • Avoid making promises on functionality other than in generalities. For example, you may know from our marketing documentation that GreyRidge have developed timesheet management functionality in the past, however you should avoid promising any detailed functionality relating to timesheets (for example “I’m sure it’s possible to have enter timesheets from your mobile phone”).
  • Avoid making explicit promises on timescale for implementation. One rule of GreyRidge is that we always deliver on time; the only way we can do this is by being involved in setting the correct expectation about delivery ourselves.
Sending a lead.

Once a need has been identified and the key lead details gathered, the following process should be followed to pass this lead to GreyRidge and monitor it through to completion or loss.

  1. Take the name, size and type of business, contact details and any other relevant information about the customer.
  2. Describe the following information about the customer: business problem, software need, general time-scale, estimated budget.
  3. Send this information by email to our sales team.
  4. GreyRidge will respond by email to acknowledge receipt of the lead
  5. GreyRidge will progress the lead and provide regular feedback on progress by email and direct contact
  6. Payment of commission will progress in accordance with your partner agreement with us.
